Unfortunately, that may also mean that the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will get the hybrid LTPS display that Samsung managed to introduce variable refresh rate, too, but which can only go down to 48Hz, while the LTPO panel on the Ultra models can cover the whole 1Hz-120Hz range and save on battery while displaying static images.

Galaxy S23 camera

Samsung is likely to upgrade the Galaxy S23’s camera system, and reports indicate that the company could use a higher-resolution primary sensor.

The Galaxy S23 could feature a 200MP so-called ISOCELL HP3 primary camera. Supposedly, the HP3 is an upgraded version of the 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor unveiled in September 2021.

With the Galaxy S23, Samsung could finally upgrade the selfie camera after years of sticking with a 10MP sensor. In 2023, Samsung’s flagship could sport a 12MP front camera.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to sport the same $1199.99 starting price as its predecessor unless the supply chain challenges persist into its mass production schedule, or Samsung decides that a new quad-curve design and a 200MP camera sensor warrant a higher S23 price.
Prices are to be decided. But once again, if we use the Galaxy S22 as a reference, the Galaxy S23 could cost around $799.
